Launched in 2018, Lacoste L’Homme Intense is the brainchild of respected perfumer Michel Girard. This woody spicy fragrance is an enhanced version of the 2017 original, crafted with a similar aromatic profile but with somewhat heavier emphasis on spicy and woody accords.
Top notes include sweet delectable mandarin along with the pear-like essence of quince and the tart sourness of rhubarb. Next, the heart blooms with a spicy floral trio of ginger, black pepper and jasmine. Closing this fragrance are earthy, woody and sensual notes of vetiver, vanilla, musk and cedarwood.
