Description
A mythical perfume, symbol of femininity and French luxury
A flamboyant fragrance of emotion and pleasure.
Arpège was ordered by the seamstress Jeanne Lanvin for the thirtieth birthday of her adored daughter Marie-Blanche, to whom she wanted to offer “the most beautiful perfume in the world”. All the harmony of music, composed like a poem.
Arpège, a fragrance of natural essences and flower absolutes, is a symbol of all women in love with beauty and love, elegance and refinement.
The exceptional bottle is a creation of Armand Albert Rateau, a renowned decorator.
The famous black ball adorned with the gadroon cap wonderfully symbolizes the Art Deco style, then in vogue. On the front of the ball, a golden engraving, produced by the great artist Paul Iribe, and which subsequently became the coat of arms of the house, depicts Jeanne leaning over her daughter.
Arpège is considered today as one of the most prestigious perfumes in the world, an unavoidable myth.
